True story

Ok, Sydney and I were out for a walk at "our" park. We were passing a couple of college age girls, and Sydney wanted some attention, and starting jumping around. There high pitched squeeking "of how cute" just served to make matters worse. I finally get her acting civil, and one of the girls said that she was trying to decide what kind of dog to get. She asked what kind of dog Sydney was, I told her, a mutt. She said, she is really cute, I think I might want a mutt, how big do they get? It was everything I could do to keep from laughing. I told her that if she went to the shelter, they usually had a lot of them, in different sizes. All I could think was "Honey, I don't think you are ready for a dog!"

lol Mutts are one of my favorite 'breeds' too. Shelters are just full of a pot-pourri of styles, shapes and colors.

Anybody remember the thread we had going in '06 or '05 where we created the "designer breed" names for our "designer" mutts ?
