Unhappy Sweet Elly has passed on

Elly (1999- 30 September 2016)
Awakened by noises from computer room at 0200. Thought Elly had been locked in room again. Door was open and Elly was trying to get in file cabinet. Carried her back to bed. When she tried to get up it was obvious there was a problem with her back leg. Took her to the vet hoping it was only a strain. Unfortunately the vet confirmed a badly broken leg. Due to her advanced age and medical condition (thyroid), he advised that surgery would not help her. No other choice but to end her pain and put her down. An extremely loving cat who will be missed so much by myself and her brother from the same litter. They were always together. Elly is the smaller one on the right, Buster on left. . Older brother Flip (19 and going strong) from same mother.
I can recall my wife laughing about having to hide under the covers as Elly would sneak up during the night and lick her eyelids. Well Carol, SHE'S BACK.

So sorry for your loss, woofendog. Such a sweet face on that cat!

Elly

Hello Woofendog:

Sorry to hear of the loss of Elly. She was a very pretty looking kitty. Wish to pass on our condolences at these trying times.
