My Yoda is sick

I have a 3yr old border collie/ black shepard X..went hiking yesterday i think he ate some plant,,this morning had diahrea and also threw up his morning meal at about 3pm..some leaves in vomit resembel 'dogsbane'..is it bad stuff ??

If a dog is vomitting AND having diahrea then there IS something wrong. Something is in the dogs system and it cant function normally so it's trying to get it out any way possible. (Same thing with humans)

Now is it something he ate or drank on the hike, I don't know...... but I suggest going to the vet.. better to be safe then sorry!!

umm I just reread ur post... and ur talking about DOGBANE which is said to be poisonous to dogs, cattle, sheep, horses ect... sooooo Emergency Clinic Pronto!

i would have to agree, if he is getting dehydrated, get him to a vet asap...
