Question Lost Cat (Stouffville Ontario)

Cat has been missing since December 2009.
It is a male cat named Oreo. He is black and white.
He is microchipped and neutered.
He has a black nose, and black bottom lip/chin.

We know he has been missing for a while.
If he has a new family that is ok. We would just like to know he is ok.

Reward offering $100.00

Please call Isabella - 905-640-8411
Please leave a message.

Thank You

Where in Stouffville was your cat lost from?

I ask because the last few mornings I have had a visitor from a black and white fairly long haired kitty...I did not get close enough to know the gender...he ripped open a garbage bag one morning to forage and the next few days I put out kibble for him hoping he would return. He came back during the night to eat the kibble I put out last night and I have put a new dish out this morning.
I have not seen him around much before this time, but that doesnt mean that now that he has found a regular food source he wont be back...
I did not think he was really feral....just skittish, because the first time I saw him, I called him back and he peeked around a garage to see me...but unfortunately at that very minute the owner of the garage decided to open the door and back out so he took off.

Do you have a photo I could see to compare?

It would be great if it turns out to be your guy. As long as he keeps coming back...he wont starve around my place.

This guy was a bit on the dirty side which lead me to believe he has been out for a while.

There is nothing worse than the wondering what ever happened to our lost pet. The worst feeling ever...I hope you find your kitty...and fingers crossed QMC that it is the one you are feeding...wouldn't that be a wonderful miracle...folks here tend to make miracles happen!

Not yet Hazel...It was early when I saw the original posting....Stoufville is growing in leaps and bounds and I thought if I was in the same general area, the chances would be alot higher. There is alot of new construction going on around here and a kitty could always find shelter by moving just abit and likely food around the sites...so it is possible the kitty could still be thriving...amazing so! He dined on T-bone steak the other night as I had cleaned out my freezer and he had pulled one out of the garbage bag and did a pretty good job on it!! Normally my garbage is kept in the garage, but I had company and my g/f's b/f HAD to keep his Lincoln in the garage, so my garage is small and in order to fit his car in, I had to take out the garbage bags....probably why I didnt notice him sooner...but kitties remember where there was food.

Since I have moved here, I have not seen too many strays....but my self beacon is always glowing to attract the hungry ...

I'll call and leave a message if she doesnt get back to the board today.

Shirley1011 is right.
My grandmother Isabella lives on Elm Rd.
Around the 9th Line and Main Street.
I do not have a picture at the moment, I have asked my grandmother to send me one so I can put it up. She didn't realize I could do that.
She has been looking for her guy for so long.
Thank You all for your help!

I havent see the "could be" Oreo for a couple of mornings now....he likely has a few spots to check out for food.

I am not too far from that area...so I will definately be keeping an eye out for him.

I hope we are succesful for your grandmother's sake.

My Grandmother would be so happy!

Oreo is Microchipped.
If you would like to call my grandmother she would be happy to hear from you I am sure.
She was able to borrow a cage from Stouffville Vet's office before because some one else said they may have seen him earlier last year. We had no luck.
She would help if she knew where to be looking. She has put posters up around the neighbour hood as well she said.

Thank you for you help!
My Name is Christina, I am Isabella's grand daughter.
Her phone number is 905-640-8411
I know she would help you in anyway she can.

Thank You

QMC
My grandmother would love to hear from you.
I have been trying to tell her about what you have seen and that you have been putting kibble for the cat.
She would love to be able to come around the area where you have seen him and call him and look around. She said even if it isn't him she would like to take him to the vets get him all taken care of and adopt him if possible.
She is so excited. I wish I lived a little closer I would be able to help her more.

If you wouldn't mind giving her a call she would be so happy to hear from you! (she works April 13 10-2. Feel free to call her any time she has an automated voice mail. She will call you back. If you leave a message if she isn't in.

Thank You Again!
Here name and number: Isabella 905-640-8411

She knows I have been talking to you. She would love to hear from you.

Oh she also told me to tell you the she has flyers up in the Stouffville Vets office, and the pet valu there is a picture of him on those.

Thanks again!

I will call her this afternoon, Vegeta.

He wasn't around for a day or so, but this morning the kibble dish is empty..completely. Usually with a stray I try to time feedings with the morning so I get to interact with the kitty, but he has his own schedule, that is for sure.

I would be thrilled if your grandmother could take the kitty regardless...I have a houseful right now, so me keeping him is always in my mind, but if he could have a loving home...so much better.

Your grandmother's house is not that far from mine, especially considering kitties dont use the roadways....so maybe together we can have a happy ending all around!
