Where to vaccinate?

I hope that I didn’t post this already … I wanted to this morning but got into work and I forgot if I did it or not

Ok so we have a vet but I was there 3 times (first medical, she was sick a few times) and I paid over $800. Basically it can get expensive .

I need to vaccinate Ivy again and I am wondering if I should take her to the same vet where I will get changed $70 for the vet and then the vaccine etc … usually about 200-250 bucks or is there a cheaper way .

TIA

We are up to date with this so far. I was at the vet a few weeks ago but because she had some problems he said that it is best to wait for her to get better and a little bigger to do the 16 weeks shot. Now she is 17 weeks so this upcoming week we have to do it.
Thanks for the link I will read it.

I went this week for Bailey's shots. Basic ones + rabies (it had been 3 years for the rabies one) It was $18 for consultation and $35.00 for the shots , + taxes.

Was the question for the cost ?

I will do it either way I am just not to eager to shed another $200 again! And so I was wondering if there is another way to do it or I am stuck going to the same vet and paying so much ...

So far money is not throwing me out of the house if u know what I mean

Your welcome! I didn't realize you had a munchkin ~ the link pertains to older doggies not pupsters who need all their shots. Though you might want to do some reading on going the single, simple vaccine route versus the multivalent (conbo) vaccine route as there is some thought that this may be an underlyign cause of vaccinosis and the development of some autoimmune and immune mediated disorders.

And I agree ~ are there vets in neighbouring towns or cities you can check with for rate variations ? A local Animal Services or SPCA that might run clinics ?
