Unhappy sick rat terrier

Max is a 5yr old rat terrier, last night and this morning he won't
climb the stairs or jump. he is moving slow like he is sore.
his belly is very hard , like he is having some constipation.

IT has been a few days and if your still reading I am wondering how your dog is now. Was it constipation, did you take it to a vet? Was there an obstruction. obviously it was ini pain if it wouldnt move. I sure hope your pet is ok please let us know .

Thumbs up sick rat terrier

Max ,has injured his back, we took him to the vet and
x-rays revealed two troubled discs.
his belly seemed hard because his muscles were tense from
his discomfort.
he got muscle relaxers , and pain medication, and is improving
we have to limit his jumping if we can : )
the vet said this is common in his breed, because of their energy.
thank-you for your concern

Rick
