Hello its been a long time but Im back

Not been here for a few years.
A little history I have 1 mill rescue dog named Sugar , 2 Rottweilers Vessa (3yrs)and Deoji Bro 6 months(new addition).
Sugar has had many heath issues her main problem is her eye , she had a bad injury to her eye while in the puppy mill that was left untreated. Previous Vet said her eye was not causing her any discomfort , which I found out after switching vets her eye is very painful. Unfortunately I was loving Sugar to death as she was 5lbs over weight ,she was put on a diet now is a healthy 6lbs and will be having her eye removed this Friday.
If anyone has been through this please give me some advice. I am so nervous, scared and worried about how she is going to handle this. I know her eye hurts her as she is always rubbing it but this surgery is going to hurt even more.

Welcome back lotus just wanted to send along some & for Sugar's surgery I'm sure the lack of pain after recovery will more than make up for any discomfort during her recovery.

All I can say, Lotus, is that a friend once has to remove one of her cattle dog's eyes and he was just fine afterwards. Coped far better than I thought he would. So good luck with little Sugar. If you have any questions you want answered just let me know and I'll ask my friend for you.

Welcome back, lotus!

Sorry to hear about Sugar's eye. They'll give her pain meds for her recovery and once it heals, she'll be so much more comfortable!

Keep us posted on her progress, pls!

Awww thank you for the warm welcome back and the good vibes.
I sure hope it will all go well. I feel so bad for her she went 3yrs in pain cause I was told it wasn't hurting her.
My new vet is awesome brought out a diagram to show us exactly what was wrong with Sugars eye.

Welcome back Lotus, I sure hope the surgery for Sugar's eye goes well. I have to agree I think she'll do fine once it's healed.
