Update re: Sashas blend for arthritis

So as a further update to this thread http://www.pets.ca/forum/showthread.php?t=40883

I thought I would say it has been a few months now and I am very pleased with the Sasha's blend. I give Lucy one teaspoon daily with her evening meal and also give her one Glucosamine HCL capsule in the morning.

For those who don't know Lucy is an eleven year old lab. She was diagnosed with hip displaysia at around 10 months but really only ever had one really bad episode. We have kept her very fit and given glucosamine products for most of her life. In the past few years she has developed problems with her front shoulder and also some overall stiffness. I have tried the Gluco/Chondrotin/MSM mix and that worked better than the straight glucosamine and even better yet in the liquid format. We also kept Metacam on hand for days when she seemed quite sore.

I started the Sasha's blend a few months ago now and I think it has made a great difference. She would rarely jump on our bed anymore and was almost always quite stiff or limping in the evenings if we had a good walk (more than 1/2 hour) that day. I am happy to say that she is jumping on the bed much more readily these days and rarely shows much stiffness in the evenings even after long walks (1-2 hours) .

Great news. I was hoping it would work for you. BeagleMom had great success with the Blend and since my vet now carries it - and apparently it is very popular, I have it now on my list of products "just in case".
