Drontal for small dogs help ID pill
I recently picked up some Drontal 22.7 mg tabs from my vet. The pills are bigger than what I remember. After an exhaustive google search all I can find is that there are 3 strengths of Drontal on the market... How do i know my vet didn't give me the wrong tablet? The tablets do have are marked on one side "H" with a score line and a "12". They are round and a pale yellow colour.
I am a pharmacist so I find it strange that there is no information on the Bayer website indicating the difference between the 3 strengths in terms of physical appearance. For medications for human use... A medication which is available in multiple strengths will have different colours/markings. I do not want to give my small dog that is possibly intended for a heavier dog. Can anyone out there help my ID the Drontal tablets? |
