Echo

Echo, our gray and white cat we have had for over 9 years has left us. We had to make the hard decision to put him to sleep after finding out his kidneys were failing him. It was so hard and I am at a huge loss right now. I just do not know how to act. I am so saddened by it and to happen right before the holidays. I miss him so much.

Please accept my deepest condolences patchdog

When 2 of my cuties passed in the past few years, i found that writing about it helped. You can of course just write about it here in the forum, or post a tribute in our free pet pages. http://www.pets.ca/my/pages/ The login uses your forum credentials should you be interested.

sweet sweet Echo
Sincerely,
Marko

Thank you so much Marko. It was a rough time last night. I am so used to him being in bed with us and it really hurt not to have him cuddle with us.

I'm so sorry to hear of your loss of Echo. But bless you for doing what was right for him. It is never easy for us, but it's the right thing sometimes. I understand the holiday thing, I have had two pets pass on New Years Eve. It's always with me, but they were well loved and that's what counts. Echo will wait for you at the bridge to lay by your side again one day.

Thanks much. I know that I did the right thing. It just really stings. He was a wonderful little guy who showed us love each and every day.
