Mommy Cat & 3 Little Newborns Need Foster Home

We have a man who has found a young (friendly) female who has given birth to 3 little ones. He cannot keep her, as he has other cats and they don't get along. They urgently need to be placed soon. If you can help, please call Mr. Dufresne at .

Weekend Deadline

Mr. Lefebvre called me today to ask if there is anyone who can take the mother and babies, as he is going on vacation Monday. If no one takes the little family, he says he will have no choice but to have them euthanized as he doesn't want to leave them outside. We can't do anything because our lease is up June 1st and we have no foster homes. We are scrambling to place those cats that are left at our shelter into temporary situations until we find a new location. I am moving (personally) on June 10th and can't take any into my home until after that date.

According to Mr. Lefebvre, the mother is a sweetie and deserves a home with her babies.

PLEASE help!

Is the name Dufresne or Lefebvre? Anyway, I removed the tel# We dont' know who is reading these boards and there could be someone looking for free kittens to feed to reptiles.

Name is Dufresne. Last resort is that we take them, but they will be in a cage at the shelter (not good).

Can someone PM me the number? I can take the Mama and kittens if she is still nursing. How old are the kittens? I can put Norton (the abandoned 10 day old in Pincourt) in with them wven though he is doing super well on the bottle.

Lisa.

Cat & Kittens

I wrote down the wrong number in my msg book for Mr. Dufresne. He is supposed to call me on Saturday as I assured him we would do something to take the cat and kitties. Yes, I believe babies are still nursing. Once I hear back from him, I'll get in touch with you.

Sooner the better

With the weather that we've been having, this little family needs to be in a warm, dry place as soon as possible. I will add Norton to this family only after I bring Mama and babies to the vet and they all check out as healthy or I will just keep on bottle-feeding Norton and keep Mama's family 1000% isolated. Pls. let me know what this man's # is ASAP through a PM and I will check my computer all the time until then.

Thank you.

Frustrated

SOS,

Can you give me an indication of where this man is, i.e what city? I have been trying to call some Dufresnes in the phone book but there are too many all over the city. Momma cat really should not be out in this weather and there must be a way of getting in touch with this guy before Saturday. I can take them immediately.

Lisa.

Dufresne

Hi Lisa,
Lucky seems to have hit on the right phone number. In any case, he's calling me back on Saturday as I promised to find some sort of option for him (worst case scenario, I'll take them to the shelter). If the number Lucky found isn't the right one, wait until Saturday and I'll get in touch. Is there a number he can call you at directly? I'll be in and out all day.
