My cat loves tv

Hi friends,

I am Quite a big fan of the discovery channel And lately I'm finding my cat Sammy also enjoys it. Especially when they show Birds he is really attentive to the tv. I was just wondering how many other people watch TV with their cats?

Thank you for me and Sammy

One of my cats (Umiak, the youngest at 7 months) loooooooves watching hockey. He first got into it during the Olympics, and now that the NHL playoff season is in full force, he's glued to the TV most nights.

Bobandy really likes those videos made for cats. You can find them on youtube

The Edmonton Humane Society has TV's in the cat wards in the back and they are on all the time. I believe that when they hear them and see them that it helps to calm.

So, who is Umiak hoping to win. lol

Back in the 90s when I had cats I couldn't even bring them to register the TV (maybe to do with the new technology?). Now with the dog I basically have to keep her away from the TV as soon as other animals are on the screen, sheep and horses seem to agitate her the most
