Are you coming Mom???

2 of my girls waiting for us to get going at the cottage. Just after I took this photo, I heard SPLASH! and Shelby (on the right) had left the van and went in the water after some ducks. So much for keeping them dry for the ride home (sigh)

Thanks everyone!

They have their eye on ducks in the water, which I didn't notice. I don't think we will have to worry about ducks in our part of the lake

Cute pooches! I think labs and goldens love the water almost as much as ducks. If I turn my head for just a second when I have my brother's choc lab, he is running toward a small puddle near my house. Never misses!

We can't keep them out of the water! Then again, we adopted an 8-yr old Golden, Ricki, last summer, and she won't go near the water. She would rather lie just before it.

Sorry, just have to add one more photo of Ricki. She is just THE softest, sweetest girl in the world! We love her dearly....
My MIL calls her Ricki Boom Boom and other people call her Queen Mum. She gets Queen Mum because she is stuck up!

The first pic is adorable. They look like celebrities waiting for the chauffeur!

Ricki is precious. I love older dogs and her face is so expressive. "Queen Mum" is perfect!!

Thank you for giving her a loving home to end her days in.

Aww, I love them all! I have decided I want one of every breed of doggie. Each one is so cute in a different way. I want to just snuggle with the goldens!

Thank you everyone for your wonderful comments.

The 2 youngs ones (first picture) would do anything to get in water. Any little puddle etc. and they are like like pigs rolling in it. The older one will not go near water for anything. Thats ok, because she has quite the thick fur and it would take a long time to dry etc.

The bathtub? If my younger girls even hear the bathtub water started, they will run and jump in. I have to remember to shut the door if I start to fill it for any reason. I have forgotten, only to find a couple goldens standing there in their glory and the water coming down on them. Silly dogs!
