Tofu

I feed my dog fresh meat & veggies as well as kibble - I was going to prepare a tofu dish for myself this weekend and was wondering if anyone has ever given their dog tofu & if your dog was okay with it?

I've never had a problem with Tofu, it's basically soy protein so it shouldn't be harmful?

I am a bit of a tofu freak myself.....

Although I wouldn't do it for dogs - microwaving tofu gives it a completely different texture that I absolutely love.

Tofu is made with soy beans, and it's rich in protein. Tofu is part of our regular diet, but I've never fed tofu to my dog yet, he's got enough protein from his kibbles already.

Beware of soy. It causes gas, which in turn can lead to gastric torsion (bloat- a medical emergency).
