My cat is 14 and he doesn't want to eat

My cat is not eating. Its been like this for a about two months. The blood tests were fine and his poop and urine are fine as well. He took antibiotics for gingivitis. The vet gave him some pills for appetite but he is still not eating... I bought him blue buffalo dry and wet food and he doesn't care. He drinks water. He lost weight. I feed him w the syringe; puree with wet food, pumpkin and egg yolk. He swallows and licks. I need help, please!

Hi Halphy so sorry you are going through this.
There was an incredibly informative thread on e-tube feeding not long ago and you might like to take a read.
I hope it can help you

Same thing happened to my 18 year old cat. Nothing could be found to be wrong with her, she just stopped eating. She would drink, so I switched to Whiskas cat milk, probably not the best but better than just water. Then she stopped drinking too.

Sorry your having trouble. How long has your cat been on or off the medication, because sometimes it doesn't sit well with them. Have you tried tempting with treats. You can crunch some up and place on the wet food. I also added warm water to the canned food to entice with the smell and they could lick it up.

I am hopeful that Sugarcatmom will stop by with some additional advice.

Good Luck
