hi evey here

i am very new here so any advice is welcome...ive a question concerning my dogs..al Bichon Frise..the mommy has had 2 pups...the pups from last yr especially the female thinks she is the mommy and is behaving as if she is..can anoyone give some insight into this..it was cute at firdt but dont want to confuse the poor mom and the young female . thanks

Welcome to the board. Sorry I can't give you any advice on your pups though, I've never had a dog that wasn't spayed so I can't help you out. I hope it all goes well for your dogs.

Welcome to the board.

No advice for you here, either, except to separate new mom and pups from the other dogs. We're mostly not breeders here, evey--do you have another breeder or a vet there that you can go to for advice?

What is the young one trying to do ,Evey? If the mother has pups drinking off her then it would be a good idea to let her have some peace to look after them and keep the young female away from her.
