Anal Glands - temporary fixes

One of my dogs currently needs to have her anal glands emptied. I have never experienced this with any of my pets and am not comfortable attempting it myself. Sadly, I can not get her in to see the vet until Monday. Does anyone have any recommendations of something I can do at home to make her more comfortable until I can get her into the clinic?

I appreciate the comments!

Most groomers can do this as well. Dusty's groomer does it as part of his grooming, and usually does Groucho's for free because she's in love with him
