Exclamation Help!! 8 year old sheltie

My 8 year old sheltie has not eaten in the last 24 hours or pooped! He usually eats all of his food quickly but wont even look at his food bowl. He isn't as hyper as usual and I can tell he doesn't feel well. He keeps going in and out of the house. Please help! I don't know if I should bring him to the vet or what to do! I am probably over reacting but he is my baby.
