Enlighten me here? I see your dog's are small and short hair. Do they need clothes because it is so cold in your home or because they would be cold in any home no matter how warmly kept ? I had a Dobie with similar hair and he never indicated a need for such clothing.

Well Cassie has neither short short fur like a Great Dane or a cold house, but she curls up under a blanket any chance she gets and she loves putting her sweater on

I'm probably just cranky about clothes on dogs. I've seen too many lately with the better weather.
I see so many of them in full kitted outfits (no, not snowsuits or sweaters or things to protect them from the elements) and frankly ~ it makes me angry and sad. I'm not one one for small dogs, but nonetheless I still see them as dawgz. That is until their people start dressing them up like "playthings".

small rant ~ sorry.

They are so cute! They look so comfy, I have to say I'm jealous .

My girls have pajamas as well, and they just love them. Plus, isn't there something about snuggling up with a nice warm dog with comfy jammies on?

Thanks for the replys, we got them on sale at Decotogs
http://www.decotogs.com/snugglies/wsmall.htm
snapped a few shots of the dogs tring them on. Them don't wear them all the time just on really cold nights. Ashley would like to wear them all the time lol. But they don't need too, they play in the snow and are alright for a while

There are my two favorite whippets!! They're adorable in their jammies.

Mum, I think doggy fleeces for little short-haired dogs are like sofas for big dogs.. They can live without them generally, but life is just easier with them... The surface area to volume ratio of little dogs is way higher than for big dogs, and they just end up spending so much energy keeping warm... So if jammies make them more comfy, why not make them cute jammies?
