Too funny video

Have to share this one, these guys look like my Jessie before she couldn't run as well

Hazel are these guys English setters? Even if not, this is quite cute:

How is Jessie doing these days?

Thanks for asking Hazel, Jessie is walking worse, hardly runs - we are going to have a consult with the vet to see how long he wants to wait before we go with the surgery. I want her to get better and heal while she is still young, but will go with his opinion. She doesn't act like she is in pain, just very uncomfortable standing or walking most of the time, now. Also I want to know all of the possible bad sides of going forward with surgery.

What a funny video! Halo would run by Shadow and clip her quite often the past few months. Shadow could really only stand there and nip at her, but in her younger days Halo would have had a hard time catching her at all.

I hope you are able to make your decision on Jessie soon dmc. It's not fun watching them when they're not comfortable.

Pls jog my memory...is this vet an orthopedic specialist? I can't remember if I asked before I do hope that he can help you come up with a plan of action and at least a tentative schedule.

If you can at all swing it, you might want to at least send her xrays out to a specialist for a second opinion. We found out that regular vets (even ours, who is one of the region's top ACL surgeons) don't have the expertise that orthopedic specialists do. Our regular vet referred us to one at the U of MN who has taken care of all our dysplastic dogs' joints--both hips and elbows.
