Chopper was rescued from a local overcrowded pound. Originally given up by his family who let an ear infection go untreated for 2 years! The condition was so bad that his ear was grossly inflamed and bleeding when he arrived at the veterinary hospital. He is currently undergoing laser and anti-biotic treatments to help his condition heal.

Chopper is 7 years old, neutered, utd on vaccines, and comprehensive blood tests (including thyroid) confirm he is very healthy. Overweight at 104 lbs, he needs regular gentle exercise and a good quality diet in order to help him achieve his ideal weight. He's another favorite at the vet hospital, always eager for lovings from the staff and all strangers he meets. Wonderful with absolutely everyone, including other dogs, cats, and children.

Chopper is still looking for his forever home. He's lost over 20lbs and is doing wonderfully well!

He also had his first debut on tv today and, we've discovered he's a little camera shy .
