Ok tomorrow morning, or afternoon, depending on how tired these babies are after today, I'm gonna post some outside pics. They played outside today! Yey! Walking 4 dogs- well, walking 3 dogs and carrying the last- was a job and a half. Kerry is amazing on the leash. She's a daredevil. She walked all the way to the river and back on her own. Just amazing. These guys barely came out of their crate 4 days ago. Doolin wouldn't though. He just got really scared. He would be terrified and then have a boost of confidence for a couple of minutes then be terrified again. My arms were shaking from the fatigue of holding him for so long.

I don't know if this is arrogant, but I hope it isn't us that is helping them. I hope when they go to their new home that they continue to open up.

Today, my dad came over and he said, "My gosh, they're so social!" which was crazy because he didn't even know their history. It wasn't a comparative observation. Yey furrybabies!

Prin your foster babies are adorable, they are 2 lucky little pups to have found themselves in your care.

Prin, you ARE helping them and that's the point of fostering them. You'll see that their new family will be so thankfull to you for taking such good care of the puppies. And don't worry mommy, they will continue to open up,to a point that you will think;I've created monsters!

Oh, I know I have created monsters.

Here's the pics from yesterday (sorry the quality of some sucks- it was starting to get dark and with the flash, my camera is too slow...)

Kerry trying to chew through her leashes to get free!

And here's the best one. Doolin can't walk on a leash. He likes to be carried. ALL the time. Till your arms are numb. Here he is being carried by my man.

jiorji, I am so sure somebody will ask us. There was nobody social on the river yesterday, so nobody has asked yet... Wait till I tell them everybody will be neutered by next week!

I've noticed that Kerry's retinas are blue and Doolin's are green. It's cool because if you don't have their feet in the pic, sometimes it's hard to tell them apart. In person, I get it right about 80% of the time without the feet (they're very different personalities).

I'm so glad the new family is choosing to get Kerry too. Doolin is great, but Kerry is really something special. She just has so much love in her eyes. Love and softness. Doolin has some love and a lot of goofiness, which is great too. But they would definitely have regretted to not get Kerry with Doolin.

This was yesterday- before all the rain. Today we have maybe 15 cm left. We did get more here than Montreal though (in general).

Actually, Doolin is the player. When he feels safe, he plays FOREVER. lol He doesn't stop. Kerry is more laid back with spurts of energy (especially outside). She's more independent. Doolin does anything to get attention.

Prin, don't forget to give the new parents the pets.ca site. Tell them that we have alot invested in these sweeties...well ok just let them know that we all feel like we are the "foster parents" and would like to follow their progress. I feel like I know them so well already. I would really miss seeing them. Let them know we are very possesive of our family members...never mind I am now scaring myself I need therapy

LOL I'm thinking it... You say it, but I'm thinking it. I don't know what it will be like to give up pups and not know how they turned out or even what they look like (they'll morph so much in the next 2 years). I just hope their core person never changes.

Oh wait! I just looked at the pics again.. Ok, it's not THAT snowy here. Everybody just has tiny properties, so when they shovel their driveways, the banks get really high (i.e. there isn't enough room on the lawn for all the snow). Like right now, our lawn is almost bare (maybe 15cm, like I said) but the banks are still almost a meter high.

Cpietra, I don't do the contract. Luckily for the adopters.

Oh I thought it was like fostering cats. I do have an imput on who they go to. I am not sure about the weight of my opinion but I was told that I can also look for people myself. Actually I think your puppies were spoken for before you got them...right?

OMG and they thought they were only getting 2 puppies...did they noticed the "lurking" part in the fine print of the contract. You can alter any contract on the computer....you know

Ok, I keep looking at that one of Doolin being carried and somehow when I resized it, it lost a bit of its essence. The cute part is that he is smiling. He's being carried and he's smiling about it.

Here's the same pic but zoomed in on his face. See the smiling?
