Talking Question from Junior

Good Morning:
I'm fairly new to this board and it is very interesting and informative. I have been in rescue work for years and when I joined this board I was impressed with the amount of interaction between members and helpful sharing.
QUESTION: I noticed I am listed as a JUNIOR Member. Just wondering what constitutes a JUNIOR member as oppossed to other designations I have seen for other members? Believe me I am not complaining since I am in my mid 60's and being called a JUNIOR anything is like being carded for buying beer at my age.
If it is based on age and I'm a Junior there must be some really old geezers out there on the board too.LOL
I've hunted around the board and cannot find an explanation so I thought I would post it.
Jim

Good morning woodbyter! hahahaha I actually felt very flattered too, being called a"Junior",I just had my 60th birthday(going on 15) in January
Junior just means you are a new poster I'm afraid!!!
I think most members here are a little(a lot!!!)younger and you and I are the geeeezers

Thumbs up In the words of.....

My favorite politician Ronald Regan--"There you go again".
Dashing my dreams of being a JUNIOR anything.
I was soooo hopeful I was among older folks and could once again be the baby of the group.LOL
Oh well - just another disappointment in life...LOL
I do find the board very interesting as well as a couple others on different topics. I'm enjoying (?) a forced early trial retirement since taking a spill on the ice and breaking my ankle in 2 places and tearing 3 tendons (OUCH). The good part is my rescue family enjoys having the old man around the house 24/7. My 6 pound -15 year old poodle, 110 pound, 7 year old Ridgeback hound and 35 pound, 5 year old Dox/Pin mix think this is great. Of course the Mrs. is having to handle the outside kennel chores for awile.
Glad to be here.
Jim

Ok, I think this is what it means:

Junior - under 100 posts
Senior - over 100 but under 1000 posts
Expert - over 1000 but under 1100
Senior contributer - Over 1100 posts

I don't know what comes next!

Hope this helps.

After EXPERT

I suspect after 1000-1100 responses your next catagory might be "Career Carpal Tunnel Syndromer"

Well... about my age, I don't really feel comfortable giving it out, but lets leave it at that I'm under 18.

I've read every book on dogs that I can find around. I've read all the websites I can find on dog training, and also have helped training my grandparent's dog, and another Pom. I have worked hard with my dog, and if you look in my signurature, you'll see more about us. We want to be doing Therapy dog work at the begining of May. We would have started doing it already, but Bentley needs to have a certificate written up saying that he's in good health.

I just love pets. Especialy dogs.

Very knowledgeable indeedy!!!!

Good on ya girl!!!

Age is ok to reveal isn't it?? As long as "they" don't know where you live or go to school and such right?? ("they" being the bad guys!! ) My neice has been on chat lines before and she was 14 or 15, and I could have killed her!!! Crazy kid!!! She is lucky!! She is 17 now, so hopefully she smartened up!!!

I feel safe as long as I have my dog

Although he couldn't really "attack" because he's so small, he's my "allert."

Wow, does he ever freak out at anybody who comes out for a walk at night!

By the way, he's only like that when its dark out.

Luba!!

Actualy, I've tried walking dogs for the SPCA in my town, and they won't let me! Not "old" enough. Oh well, its for the insurance. I guess they don't want to be sued!
