Unhappy swollen mammary gland?

hi everyone, i am new to this forum, and would like some advice. i am a young mom, and don't have a large income as you would imagine. my ten month old dog, roxy, has some swelling around two of her nipples, and it has been bothering her. she has been chewing around the area, and i was hoping it would go away on its own, but it seems to either be staying the same or getting a little worse. its not super swollen, but when i touch the area, i can feel something firm beneath the skin, which seems to be swollen glands, but im not sure. could it be an infection? does anyone have any advice? i wont be able to bring her to the vet until friday i appreciate any advice i can get!!! thanks!!

Is Roxy spayed yet? Is there a possibility she could be pregnant?

Hard to say what it could be, if it is an infection know that they can spread rapidly and the sooner this is looked at and treated the better the outcome. Since she is chewing at the area it does sound like it's bothering her to some degree, any chance you could have her in sooner & work out a payment plan with the Vet's office manager?

& let us know how she's doing
