I take it its your first time with a rabbit birthing, so there fore I dont think you are really prepared for whats ahead of you.

2 scenerios

1- your rabbit is indoors in a regular Hagen cage ( not a lot of room there for them) she will make her own nest, There is nothing for you to do. Put some straw in her cage and she will take over from there. However. You now are going to be unable to properly clean out the cage. Seeing as though you CAN NOT touch the nest. She may be very agitated or aggressive with you putting your hands in her cage, so be prepared for that. You are going to have to clean out the section where she does her "buisness" daily.
Also , she will make a BIG mess with pulling fur from her rear and dewlap. ( to soften the nest and keep the hairless babies warm)
You also will rarely see her near the nest. She doesnt want you to know whats in there, or to be suspiscious of whats going on in there.

2- you have her in a larger cage ( approx. 4'x3' ish) do the same , with the straw. All the previous tips still apply!

Please dont disturb her nest. She could ignore or kill her babies if she feels that a 'predator' knows where they are. ( which is what you have become)

Good luck, if you have any further questions feel free to ask.

Also make sure that the cage that she is going to be birthing in is in a quiet are of the house. With NO drafts.

Make sure there is little traffic where the cage is located.

And again, you can NOT touch the babies or nest until the babies are out and about on their own. ( approx 3-4 weeks)
But by making sure that you dont handle them until you are CERTAIN that they are eating on their own , you will be ensuring their survival.

I truely hope this litter will be the last. Breeding of any animals is serious work and is best left to "pro's"
Let me know if you need any other info.

Im sorry but to me this sounds like you are breeding!?!?!

However I did not mean to insult you in any way, I was offering suggestions based on what you had said.
