Lettin the cat outta the bag is a whole lot easier than puttin it back in.

Most of the stuff people worry about ain't gonna happen anyway.

Or Jeffrey Damers!!

Don't people get it!! Kids who torture animals end up to be the jeffery daumer, or Robert Picktons of the world.
Something needs to be done!

And just after Christmas too. My heart truly goes out to the kittie's mom and dad. I just can't imagine coming home from a trip and finding this.

Being juvenilles, I don't even think they will get that. This kind of stuff happens all the time with minors nowadays.

It's time the government changed the laws to stop protecting kids like this.

RIP sweet kitty and, my condolences to those that loved you.

I researched this disgusting story and saw that on a Globe and Mail story, reader comments for the most part went on about how the 'kids' should be put in a microwave too...

Until someone asked what could be done to prevent this.

My suggestion was that caring for another living creature - insect, animal, fish whatever - should be a mandatory part of the education curriculum in early grades. Schools need to reconnect us with nature and re-energize empathy.

Learn compassion now and Johnny won't grow up to be a serial killer who started by pulling the wings off flys.
