the beanies made a new friend

A gorgeous 6-mth old Chesapeak Bay Retriever named "Sargeant", whose owner sometimes walks him in the field where I often go. Here are some pics from yesterday evening:

I bow to you, oh king of the field!

Can I maybe kiss you, instead?

Investigating a burrough:

wheeeeeee!

a boy and his dog:

look at me! look at me!

hot, hot, hot, hot:

Follow my leader:

I was so thinking way in the gutter too. One minute im reading bout Dakotas "bits" and then prin pipes up. Really got confused for a second there.

Great pics TD. I really wish I could have made it to the meet up, I would love to see what my dogs would look like photographed with a GOOD camera.

cody had no reproductive drive, thank goodness! no humping, no playing with himself or anything. but yeah he marks apparently though with some dogs, the behavior doesn't change much after neutering. guess we'll see, when the time comes. Until then, I'll have to learn how to photoshop the furry plums out

Hunter is a marker even though he is neutered:sad:
He didn't always do it, but the past few years, he began

Well, I can tell you for sure, Pablo stopped. He did for a bit, but I guess as the testosterone wore off, he stopped. He kind of looks confused as he's peeing litres and litres in one shot though. "What's going on?"

Lettin the cat outta the bag is a whole lot easier than puttin it back in.

I love the progression from submissive pup to full, confident joy in being one of the big dogs!

yeah he's good at making dakotah reprimand him rambunctuous adolescent! so funny... he'll come spinning and bumping into the big bean and paw at his face and get an "air nip" gurgle growl in response. dakotah is much more patient than I am!

The stark contrast of tails in "follow the leader" is great too!
