Welcome to the board, we are not vets so we cannot diagnose or treat your dogs swelling, it is always best to take her to see the vet.

Considering that the swelling could be anything from a bug bite to food allergies to arthritis you need to bring her in for a Vet check up, they can give you appropriate advise on medication if needed.

Never give human medicine to your animal without the direction of your vet, there are a lot of possible complications/allergies you will not know of, plus because you are not sure why she is swollen you have no way of telling which kind of medication is appropriate.

Dosage is also very important the age/weight chart on medications is geared towards humans not animals ie if a 100 kg person gets x amount that same amount may be way too high for a 100 kg dog

Eh Missie21,,welcome to the site!! We live in Londonderry,,about 20 miles from Truro. Like Growler said, you should see a vet before you do any self-prescibing for your dog. I find the Truro Vet clinic is really good, they are so caring and friendly. Good luck, and let us know how you make out
