a cut?

I have a sweet, sweet huskie/sheppard/rotty mix dog. Other then the constant hair everyone and his obsession with squirrels, he's the best dog I've ever known.
He's acting normal. he's healthy, but he started scratching, not obsessively but whenever he's waiting for me to get ready before a walk. The scratching area is the area between his nose and eye. He has a long jaw/mouth. Since he wasn't doing it that often I haven't worried. Today I noticed it's now a sore and it's red. He hasn't touched it but I'm wondering what to put on it.

He may have a medical problem with his ears. Infection, yeast, mites etc. may. Check his ears yourself, do they seem inflammed, smelly etc. If so it may be a good idea to bring him to the vet.

Some human Polysporin will work well on the cut.

We'd love to see a photo if you have one .
