Unhappy Sick Lab

I have a Lab/Chow mixed breed, he is approx. 2 years old, until last night he seemed fine, then he started shaking, became rigid and disoriented and began stumbling and falling down, he then arched his back, he didn't throw up or drool, but he did look glassy eyed, after about 5 mins. he seemed to slowly come out of it and then he was fine. I'm worried, this has never happened before, what should I do or is this normal for this breed?

I'm not a Vet but if this were my dog I'd take him to the Vet ASAP.
