Found black/white long hair cat Thunder Bay

I have found a female black/white long haired cat. I have brought her to the vet and they said her micro chip belongs to a 416 are code. They have tried the number numerous times and no one has responded. I found this cat on Aug 25 and she was in bad shape. She was starving to death so I have her at home and getting her healthy again. She is very loving and belongs to someone who cared about her.

Do you know if they tried the emergency number on the chip. Most chips info have the owners contact info and also a emergency contact, in case you can't get a hold of the owner. You would be suprised how many people don't call it or the chip company doesn't give it out, if not asked.

It is possible,since you are in Thunder Bay,her owners might have been on vacation and lost her..no way could she get all that way on her own.
the 416 area is Toronto if I am not mistaken.
