Question hello

Hello, name is gail and I have two kitties one however is very sick that's how I found this site, trying to find info. She has been to the vet and has cancer but the vet said she has never seen this in 25 years. She went from having a toe removed to limbs all over, weight loss and vomiting, I guess I keep wanting it to be something other than cancer ,she is about 16 years. I thought i would look around here to see if there are any similar cases. thanks gail

Hi, Gail. I'm sorry to hear about your cat

I have no experience with cats, but there are a lot of cat lovers on the this board and perhaps someone can help you. I do wish to welcome you to the board, even though it's under trying circumstances for you...

Best wishes for your cat and for you

My condolences on the loss of Carly. How are you holding up ?

If you would like to post a picture, when you open up a "reply" post or start a "thread" post you will see a bunch of symbols at the top. The one that looks like a paper clip is "Manage Attachments". Use the browse function to look through your folders then "click open, then upload and close the box. Once you've written what you want to accompany the picture., click on the paperclip, then click on insert/ insert all.

Hey all thanks for the nice words i tried to do what you had said about the pic so i gave it a try let me know if it worked. Well there's now a new girl here my husband could'nt resist her, but i still choke up some, by the way the cast on carly's foot is when i guess this all started, one of her pads was huge so they had to take the toe.

So sorry about Carly:sad: but take comfort in knowing at 16yrs old,she must have had a wonderful life
Cancer is a curse,I've lost a couple of cats this way:sad: it's something you just cannot fight..
I am glad your husband brought another kitty, not to replace Carly, but probably a kitty that really needed a good home,Carly will be proud

Your new cat is gorgeous, he looks almost painted, maybe you should call him Picasso or Matisse.
about Carly, lucky that she slipped away at home instead of at the vet's, much better for everyone. You'll see her again. There's a gaggle of animals waiting for me over there - dogs from my childhood, probably a couple of hamsters, at least one budgie and several cats. I'm not sure I believe any of this but it's a lovely thought .

I guess I got confused because your post #17 said "ok this is sofie" and then post #18 showed the pic.

Well then, Shamie is beautiful and still waiting for a pic of the "irresistable to hubby" newbie in your life, Sofie.

So sorry for the loss of Carly, Gail. I know how hard it can be She was a beauty, that's for sure!

Shamrock is stunning! I've never seen a cat so distinctively marked!

I'm still living in the 20th century--don't know a thing about camera phones! We don't even get cell signal here...

But I am looking forward to seeing Sophie when you get that newfangled stuff all sorted out!
