No, she was really just smiling, lying on the pillow asleep. I even tried moving her lips after I took the pic and they went back to smiling.

hmm... Honestly, I find it too hard to foster... Lily needed somebody and she's a newf baby, so there was no question, but I'm going to be devastated (if) when she leaves. I'm more of a "help them by giving them a home" type of person, even if the process is much slower. I promised myself I'd never hurt myself like this again, no matter how selfish that may be. But I am/did anyway...

But they'd make a good story, no? One SPCA special, one "free to a good home" and one super rescue. (good story as in saving them one at a time...)

Awww, great vids and pics. Riley and his brother make the exact same Boo noises when they are tormenting each other by keeping away toys.

She's smiling cause she can't believe her good luck with such a great foster family .

The others are 33% the man and 33% rescue... Just because I want her doesn't mean I get her.

But I can't ask the rescue till I get the man to agree, you know?

I can't see a problem with the rescue so it's just your man you have to work on. And, with Lily being so adorable that shouldn't be a big problem.

Its cause she's proud now Prin, she has a great family ( even if it does end up a foster family only)

And he's not allergic to her! (Did I say that already?) When we gave Boo his first bath, my man was sneezing and he could barely see from all the poofiness of his eyelids... This time, he held her up and nothing.

Oh wow, lots of videos since I was here last. Can't wait to get home so I can watch them.

The pics of her after her bath are amazing, her coat is soooo fluffy

I love the smiling in her sleep pic

Thanks.

Sorry if I keep bragging. It's just nice to see her coming along, and I know if I was on the other end, I'd like to hear it. (Once in a while, we need a good story, right?)

Some pics of the short romp outside this afternoon:

(jemma's a model- even in the playing she manages to focus on the camera )

And my attempt at posing them was a little unsuccessful... Maybe Lily needs to learn "stay" before we start on this... She already has the "sit" at about 50%...

In the first pic Jemma's ears look like they are standing straight up

I love love love to hear Lily stories, see pics, and videos. I don't think its bragging at all, it is such a good story to see unfold

Prin,I must be the only wuzz around here, but just the thought of her having to leave for another home, gets me all teared up,she's sooo happy where she is.
I know fostering is super important and all fosterfamilies are wonderful, but I don't know how you do it,this girl, more than the pups you had before, just seems to belong with Boo and Jemma and they are a beautiful trio of black dogs.
The last pic, just really pulls at the heartstrings, she's a sweetheart:love:

Chico, you're so sweet. I don't know either. Fostering is so hard. Even with the other newf puppies who were already adopted before we even got them, we had a VERY hard time giving them up. With Lily it's going to be terrible because I know she's everything I would want in my next doggy. I think all foster homes who really do foster are so amazing.

Not sure how smart she is though... She's still closed up so it's hard to tell where the boundaries start and the intelligence stops, you know?
