I have a dog that barks at money!

My dog Digger knows what money is I swear

When she sees money she barks and then makes this funny whiney sound

Anyway

It's annoying when you are paying for gas or buying fast food through a drive through... but its handy when walking alone in the woods.

She once found twenty bucks that had blown up against the bottom of a chain link fence ! Here she is over some small change we found on a ski hill near the house.

Definitely a good girl to have along on a walk then!

Welcome to the board, Arob! And Digger, too, of course. She sure is a cutie!

My husband taught our blue merle Sheltie to "get the money" every time we order food to be delivered. Big mistake. Now she goes nuts when she sees any kind of money.

Oh....as an added bonus, both our Shelties know when food will be delivered to our door. It took us a while to figure out how they always know, but we finally concluded that it's our phone number. Every time we order food, we are asked for our phone number. So as soon as we say "416....." the barking starts and both dogs sit at the door until the delivery arrives. We have been forced to hide in another room to order a pizza. Sigh.
