My cat drools

My male (fixed) dlc drools when he purrs, is this normal, and is there anyway of fixing this cause it's pretty gross in the middle of the night when he purring in my bed and kneeding and drooling on me at the same time. If not that's okay, we love him anyway, he's just a big baby.

This is very common, and seems to be seen more in male cats. Purr - knead - drool! Nothing to worry about if that is the only time he drools.

I love it when a kitty makes bisquits for me.....over whelming affection....for me! Add the purrrr...and squinty eye's, awww...life is grand.

Maybe the dough was too dry, so the drool helps? I don't even wanna know what they might add if the dough is too wet....

And as for the drool my out-laws had a beautiful little man named Ben (now an )who also drooled when you pet him. It was the cutest thing I have ever seen! Always left a little puddle when you loved him up! :love:

My Jasmine drools bad when you pet her, her nose also runs. don't know why it has always just done that from the time i got her. it's kind of cute though. (except when i'm about to leave and realize i have kitty drool on my shirt or pants). My friend had a cat that did this so her son named him spittle, what a name .

Many,many, many, many, many, years ago, my Aunt adopted a newly weaned kitten from the local shelter. Because of her tender, young age Punkin' Blossom (as she was named) would suckle the armpit of my Aunt's sweatshirts (with my aunt inside them) and drool. As she got older, she would fall asleep on your shoulder, purring loudly in your ear and drooling to beat the band.

Punkin' passed away several years ago at the ripe old age of 22. She was a drool machine until the end.

Rockwell (Big Kitty) has drooled since we adopted her. I think it is so cute. When we are allowed to pet her, which isn't very often she will purr, drool and make puddles. She also never, ever stays still, she must walk back and forth and set the rules so you can imagine all the little wet spots she makes

Whenever my mom is being creative, she sticks the tip of her tongue out of the corner of her mouth. Somehow I have this mental image of this little cat finger-painting like the kids do in kindergarten. Paw-Painting?

Aww all the drool stories. I miss my droolerA glorious bead of saliva forming at the little kitty smile, glistening, one after the other like the steady drip of a leaky faucet. I think it might be related to the kneading of mums tummy and a salivating in expectation of milk from when they where little babies. It seems like they are in heaven when they are drooling
