stormy is very scared more so then normal

Hey guys been awhile

gotta a small problem. Stormy has been acting very skittish and scared lately. This morning so far she won't eat she's laying low to the ground when she walks like she's looking for danger. She's trying to hide but won't hide in any of her normal spots like under the bed. She's been crying and every noise makes her jump. I have no idea what is wrong. I don't know if i should take her to the vet i don't want to make her worse. She's always been a little nervious and jumpy but this is a whole new level for her. She only seems to calm down at night. I mean i don't really know if any of the other two got in a fight with her. they seem normal. I'm just really worried about her. any thoughts suggestions?

MWW

I don't have much cat experience, but it does sound like a vet visit might be a good idea. Especially since she's trying to hide. I hope she's okay, MWW! You sure don't need another worry on your plate!

Hi Mww - sorry to hear Stormy is acting strange. Have you checked her over thoroughly to see if she has any bites or scratches from the others? Any tender spots? Trying to remember back to when I had kitties, my younger one would get really weird when she was constipated - any chance Stormy might be? I guess it's hard to tell with three cats, but maybe try separating her overnight so you can see if she's pooping or not. I wouldn't panic yet, but if the behaviour carries on for another day I'd have her checked out. I'm sure some kitty guru will be along, but that's what comes to mind for me.
Hugs to you all.
