Personal Organizer

Hello there-

Does anyone have experiences with hiring a personal organizer? I have one coming to visit with me on Sunday. I am going to reorganize my house, and work on a better family schedule.
Any thoughts on what to expect? I am so excited...everything in my house will finally have a home and I will be able to find the tape when I need it!

I have never used one but it's funny you should bring this up. Since I must be home this weekend with Maddox, I have made my to-do list and organizing EVERYTHING is right up there.

Good luck and you will feel so much lighter once you are done.

Have you every seen the A & E show Hoarders? The woman I have hired also works with people in that spectrum of need. Very intense...

I didn't know you could hire someone to do that, its one of my favorite things to do (sick person that I am) organize things...a place for everything and a time slot to do it in.....

If I had a Personal Organizer, that means I would have to find a new home for my Procrastination Pile

It went super well. Thank you for asking.
I am "zoning" my house now (and no, this is not the high protein diet kind) based on how we operate our house. What I liked about her suggestions- they were based in our values and in how we currently operate. It looks like she is going to improve what we do now, rather than ask us to change or learn new routines.
She is really optimistic that our house can be super organized and efficient.
I am thinking of painting a racing stripe on my house, what do you think?
