Awwwe Big hugs Mel thank you so much sweetie!

I am spending the weekend going through all kinds of boxes and pricing for our yard (tag) sale next weekend.

Ya Mona I spent it at home, sofa...to the chair...to the yard with Sadie to the sofa, to the chair to praying for the front of the storm to pass!!

I just get them when the storms are really really bad, like today and yesterday. Knew it was coming on Friday though my vision started to blurr and started seeing flashes of lights.

Oh well, hopefully the barometer will even out and I'll be out in the garage pricing my yard sale stuff for the weekend.

Having it on your bday Mona Uhm you want something from my junk pile for your birthday.....

What about some old tea towels (orange) that someone gave me as a present (I couldn't even regift these ugly buggers)

Or wait, a purple plastic flower pot (ya you'd love that)

Or what about yup, more plastic garden stuff.......(sigh what are people thinking)

Then there's the dozens of candle holders ......you know the dollar store type, and all those odd glasses and cups that just don't do it anymore.

I actually found a complete tableware set along with condoment service from Pier One Imports I bought before I moved back home (never got to use it, and now not my taste) I thought to 'gift' it to someone but thought ...I don't remember who was with me when I bought it LMAOOO!!

Luba - you get pressure headaches from the weather changes too???

OMG, try living in AB, where the pressure is constantly changing from the mountains!! UGH!!! I get them sooo bad too!!! But, I take Feverfew, an herb that is supposed to help curb them and it works!! I take 3 every morning and I really notice it if I don't take them!!! I also have "zoom zoom" meds from the doctor but I can't take those at work - or all my students would be getting A's....LOL

I absolutely LOVE that picture of Chloe, she is something else (thank you LR and Chloe)

Catt, oh you understand? Today is still bad but it's getting better.

We've had thunderstorms for three days (it's tornado warning weather in neighbouring communities so thats probably why). Zoom zoom meds lol!! Nothing really helps these things huh! In time, this too shall pass!
So much for my career being a storm chaser huh! LMAO

Mona tickity tock...time is zeroing in on ya!!
Not too many days left until you're patty whacked!!

So you wanted to be a Storm Chaser....LMAO.

Luba, have you tried the Advil Gel Cap for Migrains? When I run out of my pills that's what I use.Kyra takes them too.

Can't wait for those patty whacks....

Speaking of flower,my name translated in Enlish(from Lithuanian) means Daisy....

Ok,now that we are a happy family..... ...I have to confess something..

My real name is Ramona...But I got so fed up being called "Ramona the Pest" when I was about 10 that I shortened it.Luba, you remember those books?

I kinda thought maybe it was Ramona but hmmm thinking about those books I don't recall. What were they about.

I can't stand taking drugs, really hate it! I am pretty sure they wouldn't help as they're not regular migraines but rather from the weather. HOWEVER I am gonna get them and try them Mona thx very much. I have regular Advil (Ibuprofen) that I try and it doesn't work (I stopped there).

Even after having surgeries I never took any of the narcotic meds I was rx'd...I have a high tolerance for pain but this head pressure feels like an alien is trying to blossom from my temple LMAO

I love Ramona, it's a lovely name! Your parents done good!

Luba is Luba ...means Love in slavic languages.
My heritage is about as mixed as a mutt that nobody can figure out!
From east to west and north to south! I've got it all in me!

oh i just love cloe, please give her a big smacky kiss on the nose and a super big hug for being such a big spunk rat, she can come and visit anytime her mummy goes on holidays, well ,actually i would take all your dogs people, i offered to bill the other day, i just love dogs oh and it would be such a big party and we would all have sooo much fun .
well that just sucks you guys, you headaches sound really awful, just keep warm, quiet and cozy, oh i wish i could look after you all (my favourite thing, being aunty mel ).
oooo luba that flower pot sounds so classy and devine, it should match half my house actually
ramona is a pretty name, i reakon there is a song out there about RAMONA. and a happy birthday to you too missy. my poor grandmother was called Constance Catherine, now that is just awful.
melanie means black, my mother thinks it is a perfect name for my moods i was named by doctors who took a vote at the hospital, my mum had kicked dad out cause he didnt like the name she chose and he had a different one. the doctors had had enough of their fighting so they took a vote, melanie was their choice and was the most popular name that year in 1976 apparently.....hate it and prefer and only use mel, stupid me put my full name in when registering for the board.

oh i just love cloe, soooooo spunky

Talking Belated Happy Birthday wishes to LUBA

You are either very young or very brave.
My Mother always stayed one year older than me once she reached 39. She was not one to tell her age or show it so she could get away with it for a long time.LOL
I'm older than dirt and about as crumbly so I don't even pretend to be young anymore. As POPEYE said "I is what I is"
Happy Birthday and many more healthy ones for you.
Woody

Your very welcome Luba.

I was taking Tylanol 2-3's for my migrains. And the body was becoming immune to them, they were not helping. So I tried the Advil Gell caps for migrains.WOW,I couldn't believe how fast they worked. It even worked for my PMS ones... ....So please try them.It beats suffering....

Awwwww Tanks Luba Booba..... ...At my doctors in T.O,there was a woman who worked with him,her name was Luba. She was Polish.....

I'm a Purebred....LOL....All generations are Lithuanian...Kyra is a "mutt".....

Your right melenie, there is a song "Ramona" by the Stampeders.

As for the books Luba,I can't remember who wrote them. There was Ramona the pest,Ramona and Beasis(sp)..And a few more.

woodbyter changed his name for us......WOODY........LMAO.......

Beverly Cleary wrote the Ramona books...LOL My students just finished doing book reports on them!!!

Luba - honestly, try the Feverfew!! They work amazingly well...and they are herbs, not drugs!!! If that helps!! LOL They work for pressure headaches!!

Mona, I used to swear by Motrin Migraines (Super caps) but after trying Advil liquid gels for migraines - I'm a changed woman!! Within 10 minutes my pounder was gone!!! WHEEEEEEEE!!!!!!! I'm an Advil Woman now!!! LOL
