you might want to take the dog to the vets, have them put the dog under and do a through cleaning. it could be plaque (sp) i have 2 chi's and brush their teeh on a weekly basis because their mouths are so tiny the teeth are usually cramped. depending on your dog this could be tricky. I have been doing this since they were pups so they have come to expect it. Also you could try a groomer they might be able to brush them. but if it is really bad then take them to the vet to have it done. If it is an ozzing green it could be a sign of a possible liver infection or some sort of bacterial infection. Does your dog eat grass when it is ouside???

i would recomend taking them to the vet to get them scaled and such. if the tarter build up is that bad that they are turning green then it could be a sighn of infection. Just like humans they need to be scaled scraped and such. it is much cheaper to take them and get them cleaned and prevent any further damage then to have to pay to have the teeth pulled. When they are really built up with plaque and tarter then no amount of dental bones or normal burshing will help clear it up. Also diet has alot to do with teeth condition.
