The difference - there wasn't a speck of dirt on the Russian womans' floor! Did you see how nice and clean that room was?
I am sure that if all hoarders had houses that were that clean - no one would have a problem with it.

Hmmm... not that I know a whole lot about this mental disorder but, I don't think the Russian woman is a true hoarder ~ she continued to care for the cats after she rescued them.
...but living with 130 cats ~ holy hannah I thought I had problems finding a spot on the bed! |

I thought I had many cats with 4!!! But it does seem like the Russian woman's cats are well cared for - even though cats like their own space. Still, they are off the street and it does not say if she is seeking homes or what. We do not know the whole story. They were clean and looked healthy. Still, if an illness broke out....the others would be at risk tho that is true even in a rescue. 9Tho they;d have more space).
The hoarder was not caring for her cats - they looked ill and the place was messy and unclean so therein lies the difference.
