Kitten not eating

Okay so, my barn boys have been doing great until now. On Monday Kooper started vomiting (3-4 times, thick yellow bile) and then I noticed he was not eating. My husband had switched their food and Buddy was fine so, I thought Kooper may not like the new food so I gave him the canned food but he just sniffed it and walked away. I have been trying everything to get him to eat with no success. I have been calling the vet. who said "it's normal for them to vomit occaisionally" (not very helpful) if it continues bring them in.
This morning Buddy apparently vomited as well, this has gone on far too long and I am completely freaked out and worried sick. I want to take them to the vet. but hubby says it's just a flu or something minor. HELP!!!!!!!

You need to bring the kittens to vet right away , they could had gotten into something toxic and if they're vomiting a lot your kittens will be dehydration. Or it could be feline distemper

Anytime a cat stops eating for 48 hrs, it's time for a vet visit. If it was me, I would take them to a different vet than the one you called.

In the meantime, try offering some plain chicken baby food (Heinz is a good one) or a really stinky canned food like one of the fishy Fancy Feast flavours, or some Temptations treats, or whatever you can think of that might help jump-start Kooper's appetite. Some more tips here:

Good luck!

We've tried, canned food (that he used to love), treats (that he once came running for), chicken, fish, butter, changed the dry food and nothing! Not even remotely interested. He's got to go to the vet...period. I'm scared...I may lose my baby.

Vet didn't have many answers but he thought it was probably what he called sour stomach. So he ate something that didn't agree with him. His liver enzymes were okay, whew. And thankfully, Kooper has started to eat again, huge sigh of relief. He's not chowing down by any means but he is eating!!! Little bugger scared the crap outta me.

Yes Kooper is drinking and has now started to eat like usual (scarf scarf) Had me worried sick, this could've had a very different end result....scary.
