I think that has a blade in it? Making it a copy cat furminator?
Be cautious of using such tools, overuse can damage topcoat on a double coated breed like a Lab. I would not use one at all on a puppy who's coat is naturally going to shed as pup's adult coat comes in. Dogs and cats shed, there is no escaping it. Learn to embrace a certain amount of hair, use non-damaging brushes as needed or go to a groomer is my opinion. For my Lab I find a rubber curry comb (cheaper than a zoom groom where I go) and a slicker brush do the trick and no chance of cutting topcoat. I admit I am afraid of the bladed tools. |

I have this and it works amazing! you have to try it to beloeive it...and the doggies love it because it gives them a massage at the same time. I dont like the brushes that have a blade.

http://greenhawk.com/wdItemList.asp?...tType=ItemList These Greenhawk stores have quite a line of pet supplies now, some stuff I haven't seen anywhere else. Staff are not so knowledgeable about dogs or cats though, at least not near me at the time I went in. But then who's going to rely on a salesperson anyway, right? |

I bought the furminator brush for my long haired cat. Works well. I pretty much made a brand new cat with the fur I got out of her the first time I used the brush. It doesn't eliminate shedding entirely though. That's just a marketing ploy lol. She still sheds! However, her fur just looks fluffy and feels nice and soft. Plus, she really loves it and it does get rid of a lot!
