Hello:

My name is Gayla Drago. I live in, Union Mo, 63084 (Franklin
County). On
01-09-03 our neighbor stole our Weimaraner puppy. Her name is Matti
and was
wearing a purple collar and name tag at the time of the theft. She
is a 4
1/2 month female who is very timid. We only had her for 2 days before
the
theft.

The Franklin County Sheriff's Dept. arrested her for Felony theft of
an
animal. They have more than enough evidence against her. My
neighbor is
very unstable and made many statements as to the whereabouts of our
puppy.
We are sure she has not done any harm to the puppy because she has
possession of over 18 dogs, 22 cats and 4 birds that she has rescued.

The Sheriff's department searched her residence however the puppy was
not
there. We believe she gave the dog to a rescue group or an
acquaintance.
We have made the appropriate reports with the area humane societies
and I
have sent fliers to the area vet's.

If you have any knowledge of a puppy being rescued recently or know
of any
one else we can contact we would appreciate the help.

The lady who stole this puppy is a white female about 42 years of
age. She is about 5'3 and weighs about 105 lbs. (Name of the woman
who allegedly stole the dog can be gotten from Gayla. Please
