Greetings, cat eye discoloration

Hello everyone, this is Lilly and she's about 5 years old now and is an indoor cat. As you can see her natural eye color is green but her right one has started turning brown, it is time for a check up however I am just wondering if anyone would happen to know what this can possibly be.

Thank you very much

Could it be a cataract on your car eye? She is very cute.

She's beautiful, Subster. No clue about the color change, though. With luck someone with more feline experience will have some ideas for you...

Could be uveitis, but only a vet would be able to diagnose it for sure. How quickly did the eye change colour? Does Lilly squint or does the eye tear at all?

Do let us know what you find out! Fingers crossed that it's not a big deal.

One of mine did the same thing. I mean one of my cats. A large brown section appeared in one of her normally green eyes. There appears to be no adverse affect, Vet can find nothing wrong. Vet was not aware of any condition, ailment or problem associated or of any tendancy for this to happen in cats. Four years later and it's still there, got to a certain size and never got any bigger. Still, keep an eye on it.

Thank you guys for the compliments on Lilly

It did happen quite suddenly however there is nothing unusual with the eye besides the color, no squinting or tearing.
It's good to hear nothing was seriously with the eye of your cat Longblades, and hopefully your cat stays healthy

Thanks for the links, and I will let you guys know what the vet says about the eye.
