Rotti Ears

Just a quick question about a Rotti pup's ears. 1 has gone completely up and the other is on the way up. I know you can glue them down to get the correct shape. My pup is 3/4 Rotti and 1/4 Husky. I was wondering what the pro's and con's would be to allowing them to stay up or glue them down so they learn the correct Rotti position. I figure there will be less chance of ear infections with them up but it does look a little different not that there is anything wrong with that. I am prepared to clean his ear's regularly so infection should not be an issue. Are there any other issues I should be concerned with.

Thanks
