My dog is shivering and shows sign of pain when we try to hug him
Please help, we had a five years old Pomernian. He acts differently yesterday night...depress, body's shivering and shows sign of pain (screem) when we try to hug him. We brought him to the vet to have a brief examination and the vet said no signs of sickness externally. So could you guess what is the most likely reason behind this reaction. And do we need to bring him to do the x-ray and blood test. Please help.
Thanks Pomki |

OF COURSE YOU DO!
If it is an internal thing, you definately have to have blood work done and x-rays. Did your vet not recommend this? What did they suggest to you what the problem may be? I find it hard to believe they would just look at him, find nothing wrong on the outside and send you on your way. I know it may be expensive to have blood work done and x-rays but if you love your dog you should do anything to help him get better or at least find out what the problem is. Blood work and x-rays are the only way to find out what's going on internally in your pet, it may be serious or it may not..please just do the tests to find out. |

Thanks Joselyn,
Our dog backs to normal today, still couldn't figure out what happen about him last 2 days. And we will keep and eye on him and definitely will bring him to the vet to have blood test when he had something wrong in the future. Thanks again |
