suspect breeding adopt requests

Reading through some of the older post in adopt and training, some which appear frequently, like the lady wanting to adopt all in all 10 dogs and the"pitt breeder",if someone seem to have a questionable purpose,is there some kind of control in these Forums to weed out the"bad"ones?

and in threads people like that have been asked questions and not surprisingly they have kept very silent, you never see them again. it makes me wonder if people could possibly abuse this system, im wondering what precautions we have in place, but im sure many of the owners and carers looking for homes check them out properly.

Thats cheechpapsapmom!!! Wanting to adopt 10 dogs, and when questioned, disapears!!! I wonder, have you seen any posts in different places like the general forum, for example? These people seem drawn to the "pets for adoption" places.

Okay this is new to me. Why would they be interested in adopting that many dogs? I know I have heard of people stealing dogs to sell to experimental companies, but please tell me this can't be the case here.

oh john there are some really awful people out there, dogs can be used for things such as: fighting dogs, often staffies pits ect. puppy farmers, experiment companies such as cosmetics and lots of dodgy scientists, hunting, just to be tied up and used as an ego tool, ahhh the list is endless and there are probably a thousand evil purposes but i am just not of that mind set and cant think of them, but an evil person could. we never heard back from cheechpapasmum, she would not respond to any of our questions and had some pretty weird ideas herself i just hope she didnt get a dog.

1john44,there are sooo many horrible stories of people with absolutely no compassion for anything but money.
Selling dogs to labs would not give anyone much profit, but puppy-mills,breeding for dog-fights,even using dogs to train pitts to fight,it's unimaginable the cruelty that goes on.

Sad. Glad that someone like you can catch these things, because I would never have known!

PS. I am a woman, the name is my e-mail address and it is from the bible! So PLEASE don't call me John. It gives me a bit of an identity crisis!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1111

Unfortunately I don't do anything to catch these people,I just know about it going on,but there are people on this board that do and they are our heroes...they see the aftermath of these horrors.

But I never even saw that they had other posts, that was my point. I give a lot of props to the ones that do the rescue and all, because I could never take it!!!
