Dog Parks in Northern Ontario? Official and/or Unofficial

Hi everyone,

This is Amanda. I was wondering if anyone here knew of any unofficial or official dog parks in Northern Ontario (Sault Ste. Marie, Sudbury, North Bay and everything in between areas)?

I've looked online but can't find much information, and figured that any official dog parks would be listed on this website. But if there is anymore info, I'd love to have it.

We're planning a two day, one night getaway with the dogs and are looking for a place for them to play.

Thunder Bay has a nice dog park..discovered it while travelling east to go to a wedding. I'm not sure of the exact address but if you were to ask at a pet store there or a vet's. I checked at the hotel we were staying at and they gave me directions. We were real close to it which was nice. If you're travelling too, ask at the visitor info centres, they usually know.

There is a large school yard on St Raphael street, After hours a lot of people bring there dogs there. There also is a path to walk up to the bush area. Sudbury

Thanks for the information! I think we'll be looking into the Raphael street school yard. Is there anywhere that has water?
