Sasha's Blend
Just curious if anyone has used it on their older stiffer dogs and if you noticed any improvements?
I have just put Kita on it last week and she is still on her half dose for now and is farting up a storm but other than that is having no reaction to it. Her right shoulder is a bit stiff, nothing that really bothers her as much as it does me seeing her have a slight limp on it. I have heard some great reviews about Sashas blend and am really hoping that it will help her out. It sucks so much when they start showing signs of ageing. Even though she is 9 now, she hasn't slowed down much, this is what every 9 year old should look like. But as you can see she's no fool and takes care of herself by sleeping on the couch like the princess she is. lol

Hi erykah! My dog Connor is on Sasha's Blend now, as well as Cosequin - as combination glucosamine and chondroitin supplement. He's been on them both for roughly two years.
He's a small dog & is only four, but due to a problem with his leg bone, he's at risk for arthritis. He was limping really badly for a while, so the vet recommended him going on those two supplements. We've noticed a huge improvement. He never limps anymore, unless he really runs crazy outdoors for an extended period of time, and doesn't seem to be in any discomfort like before. I'm not sure how it would work on an older dog, but I know they have been great for us. Maybe you could think about doing a combination of the two supplements? I know the glucosamine is highly recommended for joint issues.

Erykah I've not used Sasha's blend myself, but I've heard lots of good stuff about it. I am thinking of using it on my old girl Halo also. Good luck to Kita with it. I applaud you for being proactive, that's our plan with Halo also.

Erykah, I have had a few dogs on it over a number of years. Great product. There is a cheaper, similar product here though called Pernaease, which I use now. You might like to Google and see if it is available there. My two old sheltie girls are on it and doing fine. Love your snow photo, she looks so happy.

Sasha's Blend
My dog is eleven, dalmatian/lab cross who was hit by a car when he was five. He's had arthritis for a few years and the first thing that we did was start cooking his food - rice, meat, veggies. Energy level came back up, weight went down. Next was Sasha's Blend and Adequan. Between the two I have a young dog again. I can't say enough good things about Sasha's Blend, happy dog picture attached
