Tonights yummy dinner!

After a good loot at the green store ( cant think of the name) dogs had a special quick dinner tonight!

Mmmmm, lamb and chicken

Now add some liver and ground chicken

A tad of fresh blended ( little processor thing) carrots.

One happy Kita pup!

"Must stop this bowl from moving while I lick every last bit out of here"

And Puppy's dinner as well! Happy doggies!

Mmmmmmm...bowl lickin' good! Nice to see you've dove right into this Erykah. The orange stuff is squash or pumpkin ? Or is my monitor colour as wonky as I think it is and it's actually beet tops? I miss raw...

Carrots, I'm not so sure about veggies and stuff.
Havent done a whole lot of research on that subject. But working on that!
As gross as it is, raw is fun! My stomache is still all wonky from that but still it was fun!

Unsolicited advice? Veggies have a way of working themselves out. You have to think not so much of the daily meal as the weekly and monthly "quota" of all the "vits" and trace minerals. Until you are able to draw up your masterlist ~ follow the colour "rule" (okay it's my rule but it'll do you just fine for awhile). Feed a different coloured veggie every day (or every other day if veggies are hard to get for you). When you have your masterlist and know exactly what's in each veggie and how to pair them to bring out the best in each other and the meat you're feeding: red, green, orange, yellow and of course the ubiquitous spuds! (What can I say ~ I'm Irish ~ ya gotta have spudadoes or the day just isn't complete... )

I kinda dont understand how some dogs are sooo picky... the whole time i am prepping anything ( for them or not now) Kita sits there and DROOLS ( and shes not a drooler by all means)
I guess I am lucky, there hasnt been a meat, ground/cubed or whole that they have turned their noses up to. ( Or really reacted with yet)

Poor Meik, he loved the raw too but cant do it for health reasons for now. Gotta get him figured out, he is stuck with dry "rabbit turd" kibble I have to put him out side when the others eat cause he turns his nose up at his food when i feed him.
